Scooter Rental Terms & Conditions
By booking or renting a scooter through our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Requirements & Qualifications
Age Limit: Hirers must be at least 18 years old.
Driver’s License: A valid, physical driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement (or a valid International Driving Permit where required) must be presented upon pickup.
Identification: A valid Passport or Identification Card is required for verification.
2. Payment, Security Deposit & Cancellations
Rental Fee: Full payment of the rental charge is required to confirm the booking or upon vehicle collection.
Security Deposit: A refundable deposit of RM100 (via cash or credit card authorization) is required at pickup. The deposit will be released/refunded upon return of the scooter in its original condition, subject to inspections.
Cancellations: Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or “no-shows” are non-refundable.
3. Scooter Collection & Return
Inspection: The hirer must inspect the scooter prior to departure. Any pre-existing damage, scratches, or operational issues must be documented and acknowledged by both parties.
Late Return: Scooters returned after the agreed drop-off time will incur a late fee (e.g., standard hourly rate or full additional day charge).
Fuel Policy: Scooters are provided with a specific fuel level (e.g., full tank) and must be returned with the same fuel level. A refueling fee will apply if returned with less fuel.
4. Vehicle Usage & Restrictions
Helmets & Safety: Wearing an approved safety helmet is mandatory by law for both the rider and passenger.
Passenger Limit: Maximum of two (2) persons per scooter, not exceeding the maximum weight limit.
Prohibited Uses: The scooter shall NOT be used by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for off-road riding/racing, by unauthorized riders not named on the agreement, or outside designated geographic boundaries.
5. Insurance, Liability & Damage
Rider Liability: The hirer is fully responsible for any loss, theft, traffic fines, parking violations, or physical damage caused to the scooter during the rental period.
Accidents & Damage: In the event of an accident or breakdown, the hirer must inform us immediately and file a police report if required.
Personal Insurance: Personal accident and medical insurance are not included. Hirers are strongly encouraged to carry their own travel/medical insurance.
6. Termination of Agreement We reserve the right to immediately terminate the rental and repossess the vehicle without a refund if the hirer breaches any terms, operates the vehicle dangerously, or provides false information
